Expansive floor plans and contemporary home comforts

The most immediate highlight of Pan&Co’s new-build apartments are the lofty room heights, which soar to up to 2.95 metres. The generous sensation of space is also reflected in the open floor plans, which are designed to create the most multifunctional rooms possible. The condominiums are centred around the living areas, where residents have ample space to socialise, cook and dine together. The interior design lines for these spaces are highly variable, allowing every resident to add their own very personal touches to their new next home. In addition to the open living areas, there are also private rooms for sleeping and working. Pan&Co’s architecture and design have been expertly crafted by the team at Frank Schiffer Architekten.

Comfort and quality are the watchwords throughout, even in the smallest details: Pan&Co’s new-build apartments boast real wood parquet flooring in the bedrooms and living rooms and are equipped with underfloor heating. Thanks to the expansive, floor-to-ceiling wooden windows, the interior of the apartments is flooded with natural daylight. The units also feature generous terraces and balconies of up to 28 square metres, which allow residents to expand their living space into the open air. Pan&Co’s extensive grounds offer 100 bicycle parking spaces, while the underground parking garage has a total of 30 parking spaces for cars.

Better for your wallet, better for the environment

All of Pan&Co’s new-build condominiums in vibrant yet tranquil Berlin-Pankow will be certified to KfW 55 energy-efficiency standard. This means that they will require a maximum of 55% of the annual primary energy requirement permitted by the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). And this is not only good for the environment, it’s also great for residents’ wallets because lower energy consumption means lower utility bills. What’s more, the KfW 55 standard also entitles homebuyers to generous government subsidies. The state-owned KfW bank offers low-interest loans and repayment subsidies for energy-efficient apartments.

Well-connected and just moments from the city centre

The neighbourhood around Pan&Co is exceptionally well served by public transport. Pankow’s underground and commuter rail station is a mere 8 minutes away on foot and provides direct links to every corner of the city. Distances to major destinations and the CBD are extremely short – Berlin’s iconic Alexanderplatz, for example, is only 19 minutes away on public transport. And Prenzlauer Berg, with its exciting dining scene and host of cultural venues, is literally just around the corner.

Pan&Co is being developed in the heart of a popular and well-established residential neighbourhood with all of the local amenities you could ever hope for. Families will love the convenience of having a playground practically on their doorsteps and their everyday lives will certainly be made easier by the district’s 130 day-care centres and 90 schools. Then there are the shops, including the district shopping centre, plus countless restaurants, cafés, bars and sports facilities. The quality of life here is further enhanced by the numerous parks and extensive green spaces in the immediate vicinity, which, together with the excellent provision of doctors, create the perfect conditions for a happy and healthy life in Pankow.

Location with attractive value appreciation

For over a decade now, Berlin has been one of the most sought-after locations for residential real estate buyers in Europe. The German capital has experienced exceptional growth – and it’s not only the population that has been expanding, so has the economy: between 2009 and 2019, the city’s GDP increased by 4.5 per cent per annum, significantly higher than the national average (3.0 per cent). Given the favourable fundamentals and heightened demand for residential real estate in Berlin, condominiums are widely regarded as a stable investment with attractive value appreciation potential.

Pan&Co – New condominiums in the central residential district of Berlin Pankow

With more than 400,000 inhabitants, Pankow is Berlin’s most populous district. And, with a population that large, it’s no surprise that the district is so cosmopolitan: the pulsating hustle and bustle of big city life on the one hand, quiet and intimate neighbourhoods on the other. The latest addition to Pankow is Pan&Co, a complex with 51 new-build apartments in a central residential area in the southern part of the district, almost on the border to vibrant Prenzlauer Berg.

Pankow is certainly one of the most exciting districts in Berlin, and yet there’s no shortage of opportunities for rest and relaxation. Pan&Co is surrounded by generous green grounds, which are supplemented by the numerous parks and quiet, contemplative spaces in the immediate vicinity. It is precisely this kind of diversity that the residents of Pankow have come to know and treasure.

Transport links

From Pan&Co, it is a mere eight-minute walk to the district’s subway and commuter rail station, which provides quick access to the whole of Berlin. The U2 subway line runs directly to Alexanderplatz and then on to Potsdamer Platz, Zoologischer Garten and Berlin’s Olympic Stadium. The U2 and commuter rail line 85 also take you to Schönhauser Allee, where you can connect to the circular line. You can then take the commuter rail line 2 from Gesundbrunnen to Friedrichstraße, Potsdamer Platz and Südkreuz.
