Location and Infrastructure

Among the distinguishing aspects of the building at Seilerstrasse 19a, built in 1960, is its superb location in the heart of Frankfurt am Main, close to the Friedberger Anlage park.

The independent city of Frankfurt am Main is not only the largest city in the state of Hesse, but also the fifth largest city of Germany. While itself part of the administrative district of Darmstadt, Frankfurt is Germany’s financial metropolis, the centre of the Rhine-Main metro region, and one of the most important transport nodes in Europe because of its convenient location and its airport, the largest in Germany. As a globally recognised financial, trade fair and service hub, Frankfurt am Main is home to the European Central Bank and the Bundesbank, among many other financial institutions.

Access to means of public transportation is readily available in the vicinity: The nearest bus stop is less than 200 metres away, the nearest rapid-transit station 400 metres, and the nearest regional railway station about 2.5 kilometres. The nearest federal route (B8) is around one kilometre away, while the distance to the nearest motorway entrance slip roads is about two kilometres to the A661  in the east and about three kilometres to the A66 and A648 in the west. The nearest railway station offering high-speed service is less than three kilometres away, the city’s international airport less than 26 kilometres.

Many day-to-day amenities are located in the surroundings of the housing estate, including convenience stores that remain open late into the evening. Among the amenities in the immediate vicinity are a primary school and a preschool.

The neighbourhood of the housing estate consists of multi-storey multi-dwelling units (MDU) as well as mixed residential/retail buildings. The residential location belongs in the medium-price segment, and is highly popular not least because of its excellent transportation access.
