LOCATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Niederschönhausen used to be a village in Brandenburg well beyond the city limits before it was incorporated by Berlin and grew to a population of around 29,000 residents. It is part of Berlin's most populous boroughs, Pankow, which was formed by merging the former boroughs of Weissensee and Prenzlauer Berlin during the administrative reform of 2001.

Various convenience stores lie within walking distance. Families living here appreciate the proximity of various schools and preschools. Access to the public transportation network is provided by buses and the underground and rapid transit lines serving Pankow. A short drive takes you to the A111 and A114 expressways and to the B96a federal route.
